Luke 21:1-4 And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, "Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had."
The "mite" was a small bronze coin, the least value of any coin in Jesus' time. In the Greek text it is called a Lepton
This is a replica of the widow's mite. Obverse (front) shows an anchor, reverse shows six points of a star.

ACTS & MONUMENTS of these Latter and Perilious Days
first issued in 1563, and contained many thousands of pages, with recent issues being only about 3% of the original. This is the full original text, with the first part dealing with early church martyrs, a brief history of the medieval church, including the Inquisitions, and early Reformation movement. This was one of the most influential books of the 16th Century. One note - Foxe wrote all of this with a quill pen and ink, by hand, as the typewriter had yet to be invented.

Frankincense Tears form from the resin or sap of Boswellia carteri. The bark is cut and the sap which begins to eventually flow becomes hard and brittle when exposed to air, forming bitter golden beads called "tears". Frankincense tears can be ground into a powder, or used in its granular form. The tears are often smoldered on charcoal as an incense, or burned in incense burners, or it's powdered form can be sprinkled on charcoal disks or candles. In Bible times the powdered tears were sprinkled on the red hot coals of the Altar of Incense during worship. It was one of the three gifts from the Magi given to the infant Jesus.
The aroma of frankincense is warm, woody, sweet and spicy. Enjoy!.
